Epcot celebrates the rich cultural traditions found around the world, including holiday festivities. From November 27-December 30, they host a variety of winter special events that look at the holiday traditions around the globe. The Candlelight Processional is an inspiring experience, as guests hear the story of Christmas as told by a celebrity narrator, accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra and mass choir. This stirring event has become a holiday tradition and takes place at America Gardens Theatre.

Each night, a celebrity narrator tells the tale of a savior born in a manger in Bethlehem. Soaring choral pieces performed by an orchestra and choirs weave their way through the narration, offering up hope and joy. This year’s celebrity narrators include Gary Sinise, Neil Patrick Harris, Whoopi Goldberg, Meredith Viera, America Ferrera, Edward James Olmos, Blair Underwood, and Amy Grant, among others. An American Sign Language interpreter is on hand to ensure that hearing-impaired guests are also able to enjoy the event.

Shows take place three times per day at 5:00 PM, 6:45 PM and 8:15 PM, except on December 6, 2015 when shows take place at 6:45 PM and 8:15 PM only. Celebrity narrators are scheduled for certain dates, but narrators and dates are subject to change without notice. This event is highly popular and fills up fast. Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis, so get there early if you want to attend.
