Plan Now for Christmas in Orlando

Plan Now for a Christmas Orlando Vacation
Orlando is a magical place to spend Christmas and the winter holidays. Whether you’re visiting relatives in the area or treating the family to an Orlando vacation, it’s a great time of year to take in all of the sights and attractions, often with smaller crowds, but still with pleasant temperatures – or at least without winter blizzards!

The streets of Orlando are typically lit up with holiday decorations and lights and you’ll find plenty of special holiday dinner options at restaurants and resorts around the city. Of course, most people like to visit the multitude of theme parks in the area and there’s no shortage of special holiday events there to get you in the spirit.

Walt Disney World hosts Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on select nights from November 7 until December 22. Cinderella’s Castle sparkles with white lights, while Main Street USA experiences a truly magical snowfall. All of this is topped off with live entertainment, amazing fireworks, and a holiday parade with Mickey, Santa, and many other famous Disney faces.

Fans of the Macy’s Day Thanksgiving Parade can experience the Macy’s Holiday Parade at Universal Studios Florida. From December 3 through January 1, visitors can see all of the famous floats and balloons from the beloved parade filling the streets of the park.

Holidays and LEGO go together, well, like LEGOS! At LEGOLAND Florida, visitors will get to see a giant Christmas tree made out of 270,000 LEGO bricks, as well as a variety of other holiday decorations. There are also daily appearances from Santa Claus during this special time that runs December 17-18, 24-25, 26-30, 2016.

Finally, to round off your Christmas Orlando vacation, take a trip around the world at Holidays Around the World at Epcot. From November 25 through December 30, visitors to this wondrous park get to celebrate the unique traditions of the season from around the world. There is also the Candlelight Processional that takes place three times a day, in which a celebrity narrator tells the heart-warming story of Christmas, set against the inspirational backdrop of a 50-piece orchestra and mass choir.

These are just a few of the many holiday-themed events to be found at the parks and other area attractions throughout the Orlando area. Book your reservation today with Fantasy World Resorts for the perfect family holiday vacation.
