Disney Holiday Treats to Discover

The Magic Kingdom team of chefs didn’t let a more streamlined holiday season slow them down when it comes to delicious treats. They’ve been hard at work to create new favorites and make sure traditional treats are still there to make everyone happy. If you’ve booked one of the villas at FantasyWorld, one of the leading Kissimmee Florida resorts, and will be visiting the Magic Kingdom, here are some of the delicious delights they have in store for you.

Available through December 31, you’ll find treats such as cupcakes with hidden Mickeys, gingerbread churros with apple pie filling, macaron Christmas trees, and Orange Bird is back with its own special treat. Here are some of the new treats at various locations throughout the park. You’ll want to create a must-try list!

Most of the treats this year are sweet, but there’s a new savory option available. At Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café, you’ll find a spicy chicken sandwich with slaw, pickles, a sriracha aïoli on a brioche bun.

For a special drink treat, head to Aloha Isle for their Pistachio Chai Tea Float, which includes pistachio soft-serve in spiced chai tea, with a red velvet cake pop ornament. Another option is Minnie’s Merry Cherry Sundae at Storybook Treats. This is a cherry soft-serve, with hot fudge, whipped cream, holiday sprinkles, and a Minnie bow.

Orange Bird is back with An Orange Bird Christmas, which is an orange-scented white chocolate mousse filled with orange curd. At Sleepy Hollow, you’ll find the Fa La La La Funnel Cake with strawberry topping, whipped cream and sprinkles, while at Gaston’s Tavern, try the new Belle’s Enchanted Christmas Tree made of almond macarons with cranberry orange filling. Main Street Bakery has a truly delightful treat in the Twice Upon a Cupcake, in which a confetti Christmas tree tops a vanilla cupcake with a red velvet hidden Mickey cake inside.

The big treat experiments this year come in the form of churros. From simple treats to decadent spreads, you’ll want to try these fantastic fried delights. Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Café is serving up Christmas Churros, which are fairly straightforward mini churros with red and green sugar. At Westward Ho, the Chip and Dale Christmas Churros are exquisite gingerbread churros topped with apple pie filling. Main Street Cart serves up Sugar and Spice Churros that are topped with icing and holiday sprinkles and are served with a side of eggnog. Finally, the Citrus Cart at Castle Hub has a Churro Worth Melting For, with cinnamon churros topped with marshmallow fluff and blue sugar.

With so many sweet treets to try, you’re sure to find something you’ll love amid all of the new offerings. The holidays are a wonderful time to indulge in special desserts that become part of your magical Disney memories. Combined with the comfort and activities available at FantasyWorld, one of the outstanding Kissimmee Florida resorts, you’re sure to have a delicious and delightful visit to the Magic Kingdom this holiday season.
