New Shops Come to Disney Springs This Summer

May 14, 2016 2:35 pm Published by Comments Off on New Shops Come to Disney Springs This Summer

Disney Springs
Central Florida is best known for its numerous theme parks that are destinations in their own right. Visitors can easily spend their whole visit just in the parks’ many attractions and restaurants. Yet Florida is full of areas of natural beauty that shouldn’t be missed. By staying at a Kissimmee FL resort such as Fantasy World, you have easy access to theme parks, nature parks, and the charms of Disney Springs.

Disney Springs combines shopping, dining, and entertainment in a setting inspired by Florida’s appealing waterfront towns that merge historic architecture with abundant natural beauty. There are more than 150 different restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues to enjoy at Disney Springs, making it a premier destination in Central Florida. It has recently undergone an ambitious expansion, so that it will now feature four very different neighborhoods all built around bubbling springs.

Along with The Landing, Marketplace, and West Side neighborhoods, Town Center is the latest to take its place at Disney Springs. More than 30 new tenants will be moving into the new neighborhood by the end of the summer. You don’t have to wait that long to enjoy some of the new shops and restaurants opening in Town Center. Many are throwing open their doors to guests in May.

As well as a focus on retail shops, Town Center will feature a delicious array of restaurants sure to appeal to its many visitors. Among the offerings are Sprinkles Cupcakes, which features an available-all-day cupcake ATM machine. Amorette’s Patisserie also offers up some stunning sweet treats, including petit cakes and signature dome cakes that are works of art. If you’re looking for something more savory, don’t miss Chef Art Smith’s farm-to-table concept, Homecoming: Florida Kitchen and Southern Shine. Fans of Mexican cuisine will be thrilled to dine at Chef Rick Bayless’ Tablas Frontera.

These are just a few of the many delights to be found at the expanding Disney Springs, and they’re all easy to reach from Fantasy World, a Kissimmee FL resort that is perfectly located to enjoy all of Central Florida’s many attractions.
