September Is Magical Dining Month

Soco-Magical-Dining-Month-900x450
September is a great time to enjoy an Orlando vacation, as crowds thin out, prices go down, and the weather is still warm. There may not be the same number of tourists, but there’s no shortage of events to keep you entertained. There’s also no shortage of great dining experiences as September is also Magical Dining Month.

Orlando’s Magical Dining Month provides visitors and locals alike an amazing opportunity to experience some of the outstanding culinary offerings throughout the city. Throughout the month of September, select restaurants are offering prix fixe dinner menus featuring appetizers, entrees, and desserts that are sure to amaze your taste buds. One outstanding dinner for just $33 is a deal that can’t be beat.

The number of participating restaurants is extensive and located throughout the greater Orlando area, so you’ll have no trouble finding a restaurant to satisfy your cravings, whether it’s a juicy steak, fine French cuisine, or precision Japanese dishes.

If you’re interested in trying some classic Southern cuisine during your Orlando vacation, Soco has a Magical Dining Month menu that offers a variety of mouth-watering options for both meat eaters and vegetarians. From barbeque-glazed pork belly biscuits or cornmeal-crisped oysters as a starter to grilled heritage pork chops or chicken-fried cauliflower “steak” among the entrée choices, there’s something for everyone.

Florida is a great place for seafood, so it’s no surprise that there are plenty of seafood restaurants and classic steak and seafood restaurants where you can enjoy the fruits of the sea. Big Fin Seafood Kitchen, Eddie V’s Prime Seafood, and Ocean Prime are just a few of the restaurants you’ll find right along Orlando’s Restaurant Row just off I4.

Whether you’re downtown, near Disney, Universal, or in any of the surrounding areas, including Fantasy World Resort, you’ll find a participating restaurant nearby. Don’t forget to ask for the Magical Dining Menu when you arrive. Reservations are recommended but walk-ins are accomodated when possible. Taxes and gratuities aren’t included in the prix fixe price, but one dollar from every meal goes to ELEVATE Orlando, a charity that helps urban youth graduate, get life-skills training, and become productive members of society.
