Stay at Vacation Villas in Kissimmee FL for Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival

Stay at Vacation Villas in Kissimmee FL for Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival

The 2014 Epcot Food & Wine Festival is a culinary adventure you won’t want to miss. There will be a record-setting 53 Festival days this year, from Sept. 19 to Nov. 10. Plan to headquarter at one of the comfortable Fantasy World vacation villas in Kissimmee FL and experience the Showcase booths, special events, attractions, entertainment and more.

Returning to the Festival are more than 25 international marketplaces in the World Showcase, the popular Cranberry Bog, and food and wine samplings with more than 270 chefs and culinary experts involved in the menus.

What’s new?

New this year is the “Back to Basics” series and “Food for Thought,” a cookbook event by celebrity chefs. “Sunday Mornings with …” is a new plated brunch (not a buffet!) that will include three favorite desserts crafted by an acclaimed pastry chef or baker.

The new Patagonia Marketplace merges the flavors of Argentina and Chile with menu items like Verlasso salmon with quinoa salad. You can try “brinner” (a breakfast for dinner dish) at the Farm Fresh Market.

Eat to the Beat Concerts are performed three times each evening and will keep you dancing until your return to your vacation villas in Kissimmee FL. Performers include Jo Dee Messina, the Pointer Sisters, Rick Springfield, Hanson, Smash Mouth, Los Lonely boys, Wilson Phillips, 38 Special, Boyz II Men and more popular hit-makers.

Returning and debuting celebrity chefs include Warren Brown, Rock Harper, Jennifer Hill Booker, Paula DaSilva, Erika Davis, Jamie Deen, Jerome Brown, John Stewart and others.

The 2014 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon (Nov. 7) is sold out, so if you haven’t already registered, you won’t be able to run – but you can cheer on the participants as they race through three of Disney’s parks.

There’s so much to see and do at this annual event that you can come back over and over, and discover something new each time.
